1Gbit Ethernet to NAC since 1997 enables us to tap into one of the best meshed networks in the North East. NAC has peering and connections to many providers including UUNET, AT&T, Above Net, WorldCom, XO Communications and Sprint in Telehouse facilities. NAC is also a member of the NYIIX — one of the largest neutral Internet exchange points in the North East. Some of the members of NYIIX are two (F and I) root DNS Server, Cable and Wireless, Speakeasy, Yahoo and Google.
Our connection with NAC proved itself many times with the ability to reroute and handle failures automatically using BGP-4 and human intervention when there was fiber cut and during
9/11. We never had a network failure or network latency since we established the connections in 1997.
