IMAP Configuration

Step 1: Start Entourage |
|
Open Entourage Mail |
 |
|
Step 2: Entourage > Account Settings... |
|
Select Entourage from from the menu then highlight and select Account Settings... |

|
Step 3: Accounts |
|
Click the "New" button on the toolbar. |
 |
|
Step 4:New Account |
|
Select IMAP for Account Type. |
 |
|
Click OK. |
|
Step 5: Edit Account |
|
Your IMAP and SMTP Server name should be mail.yourdomain.com, your account id must be your full e-mail address (shown below). Please provide the password that was created with the mail account. |

Step 6: Advanced sending options |
|
Click on the button Advanced sending options to configure your outgoing mail server. |

|
Step 7:Requires Authentication |
|
Highlight and select "SMTP server requires authentication" checkbox. Select the radio button "Use same settings as receiving mail server". Once those settings are in place close the dialog box. |

Verify that all your settings are correct then press OK. |
|
Step 8: Done |
|
Once you are finished it will bring you back to the new account setup page. You can close it out by clicking on the X or you can create another mail account. |

Configuring Outgoing SMTP Server |
|
Note: If your Outgoing Server Name (SMTP) is different from your Incoming Server Name you will need to change your Outgoing SMTP Server. |
