• Download Funambol Mozilla Thunderbird Plugin
• In Thunderbird, go to menu item: Tools > Addons > Install to complete the installation

Instructions for Synchronization of Synergy Webmail data in Thunderbird using Funambol:

• Launch Mozilla Thunderbird
• Go to menu item: Tools > Funambol Sync

• Click the Options Button

• Select the Account Tab then type in your account information:

1. Server url: http://sync.mailforbusiness.com/rpc.php
2. Username: Your full email address - Eg. syncdemo@simplicato.net
3. Password: Password for your email address - passwords are case sensitive
4. Please replace items 2 and 3 with your account information.

• If you have to specify Proxy settings to access the Internet, click the "Proxy Settings" button and add the appropriate information.

• Click the "Synchronize" tab

Specify the items you would like to synchronize

• The following types of information can be synchronized between Synergy Webmail and Mozilla Thunderbird using the Funambol plugin.

1. Contacts
2. Calendar
3. Tasks

• For each item, click the "Details" button to modify synchronization rules.
• "Sync Every" - select the update interval for the automatic synchronization of data between Synergy Webmail and Mozilla Thunderbird.
• After selecting the items to synchronize, click the OK button.

Note: The default setup for Mozilla Thunderbird includes "Contacts" but may not include "Calendar" or "Tasks". If you do not have options for "Calendar" or "Tasks" on the screen above, these options can be added by installing the "Lightning" plugin for Thunderbird.

• Download Lightning plugin for Mozilla Thunderbird

Synchronize Data Screen

On the Funambol main screen, click the "Click to Synchronize" button to perform a synchronization between Synergy Webmail and Thunderbird.
