As we approach the end of a successful year together, we would like to let you know some of the things we've done to add to and improve services this year and some of our plans for the upcoming year.

New Products and Services in 2009

We've been working hard to provide you with the best email hosting, email archiving and email backup services available. This year we introduced 2 new advanced platforms for doing just that.

IMAP Backup & Archiver (IBA)

This year we completed and released IMAP Backup & Archiver - an advanced off-site independent email backup system which utilizes Amazon's Cloud infrastructure.

IMAP Backup & Archiver allows managing accounts and restoration of backups through an easy to use web interface by IT personnel or end users. It can be used to backup email accounts hosted by any email hosting provider including popular services such as Google Mail / Gmail.

The service is included free of charge for all Simplicato customers and is currently being utilized to backup all email addresses hosted by Simplicato.

iMessage Archiver (iMA) 

Simplicato has been a market leading provider of Email Archiving for Compliance, eDiscovery and Email Hosting services since 2001. In 2009, our Email Archiving services were significantly enhanced with our new iMessage Archiver platform.

iMessage Archiver is a new Email Archiving platform built from the ground up to offer the most advanced features available and represents a major step forward over previous email archiving systems. 

iMessage Archiver includes a large number of technical and usability enhancements including:

• A new and easier to use interface
• Faster search execution and retrieval
• Keyword / Phrase Search
• Advanced Access Control utilizing User Roles
• Audit Trail
• Auto Compliance
• Keyword Filtering
• Advanced Exporting and Reporting mechanisms  

All accounts setup in the previous archiving system will be migrated to iMessage Archiver at no additional cost.

Spam Detection and Filtering System 

This year Simplicato introduced a new advanced Spam Detection and Filtering system which is both trainable and is capable of learning the behavior of your email accounts through our Synergy Webmail interface.

Our new Spam Filtering system provides extremely high filtering accuracy and for most email accounts require little or no adjustments.

Coming in 2010  

In the first quarter of the New Year we expect to:

1. Complete the migration of all email archiving customers currently on the Backaway platform to the iMessage Archiver platform.
2. Complete a new advanced version of the myAccount system which will include many enhancements you have requested as well as features designed to enhance the simplicity and user experience while using our services.
3. Continue with enhancements to our product and service offerings based on new technologies and your feedback.
